Getting here

Twenty-five minutes from the airport

Simón Bolívar airport is south along the coast road, about twenty-five minutes. Reception books a car at a fixed fare and will tell you the figure before you agree to it.

Calle 17 is inside the old grid, three blocks back from the seafront. Most of the centre closes to cars in the evening, so a taxi will stop at the corner and you walk to the door from there.
