Four kinds of room around two patios
The house decides the rooms: the patio-side ones are cool and dark, the street side is brighter and noisier, and the roof room is neither.

32 m² · king · first patio
Habitación Patio
The room that opens straight onto the first patio, with the four-poster and the netting that everybody photographs and nobody needs in February.
Doors on the patio side and a high window on the street side give the room all its ventilation, as they have since the house went up in 1890.

Habitación Sierra
Second patio, shuttered on two sides, with the mountain light coming in from the south in the late afternoon.
The quietest of the four, since the second patio is shut off from the street.

Habitación Balcón
Upstairs on the Calle 17 side, with the wrought balcony and the shutters that have been rehung twice and still do not quite meet in the middle.
It is the loudest room in the house between seven and nine in the evening, and the best one for watching the street do its business.
What is in the room26 m² · queen · roof level
Habitación Azotea
The single room at roof level, next to the terrace, reached by the outside stair.
It has the lowest ceiling in the house and is the only room with its own piece of outdoor floor.

What is the same everywhere
- Four room types, eleven rooms. The two patio-side types repeat; the balcony and the roof room are one of each.
- The ground-floor rooms have no air conditioning and manage without it. The four upstairs have units.
- Every room has a ceiling fan, a safe and a shuttered window that shuts firmly.
- None of the rooms has a television; the sitting room by reception has one.
