Nothing is stored until you answer the bar at the bottom of the page. The two things this site does store are named here.
The two keys
| Key | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
02_santa_marta_age_ok | Holds the answer to the age question so it is asked once per device instead of on every page. | Until browsing data is cleared |
02_santa_marta_consent | Holds your accept or decline so the bar stops reappearing. | Until browsing data is cleared |
Both are local storage entries and, strictly speaking, not cookies. They stay in your browser, cannot be read by another site, and carry no identifier.
Consent Mode v2
Four Google signals are set to denied in the head of every page, before any other script:
ad_storagead_user_dataad_personalizationanalytics_storage
The page therefore begins in the refusing state. Accepting the bar flips all four to granted; declining changes nothing, because nothing had been granted.
What accepting would allow
No tag is present today. Were one added, Google Analytics 4 would write _ga and _ga_<id>, which last two years and recognise a returning reader, and a Google Ads tag would write _gcl_au, which lasts ninety days and ties a visit to an advertisement. Decline and none of those exists.
Changing the answer
Cookie settings in the footer of every page reopens the bar. Your new answer replaces the old one immediately.
Refusing in the browser instead
Any browser can block this without involving us: Chrome and Edge under Privacy and security, Firefox under Privacy & Security, Safari under Settings then Privacy. Block storage entirely and the age question returns on every visit, because the answer has nowhere to go.
Not used here
- No social network pixels, and no share buttons that load one behind the scenes.
- No fingerprinting of device or browser.
- No advertising network other than the Google tag described above, and that only with consent.
- No session recording or heatmaps.
- No fonts or scripts fetched from another host at run time. Everything is served from this domain.
